Peter Pollak, b. 29.3.1929 in Hamburg, deported to Riga on 12.6.1941
The widow Auguste Pollak worked as a commercial clerk. In 1936 she moved from Berlin to live with her sisters Eva and Recha Schreiber on Bismarckstrasse in Hamburg. During this time, there is no evidence concerning where the two children, Renate and Peter, stayed. In October 1936 Auguste changed her address to Isestrasse 53, where she lived in a common household with three sisters, Riekchen, Recha, and Eva, and her Aunt Friedchen Heymansohn. In 1937 their name is found in the Jewish Congregation newspaper; they made a donation for a youth care facility. In 1941, they took a trip to Belgium.
On 6 December 1941, together with her children Renate and Peter, they were deported to Riga. They did not survive the Shoah.
